E-trolZ's micro medical device programmable embedded controller (µMediPEC) is a platform to deliver standard, fully integrated electrophysiological measurement solutions for highly-portable OEM devices. By integrating the hardware, I/O, drivers, RTOS, and API into a measurement subsystem, 5 Degrees of Integration enables OEMs to focus their efforts and resources on their core competency.
The µMediPEC incorporates the smallest Microsoft embedded OS footprint available. This powerful combination will deliver the smallest, most cost-effective, fully integrated hardware and software solutions for long-term, wearable health monitoring in the marketplace. E-trolZ will develop and market to medical device OEMs, tiny electronic monitors that run for 30 days, wirelessly communicate detected events to doctors, and go unnoticed as it's stitched into fabric.

The .NET Micro Framework was created from the ground up to provide a managed code development environment in about 300 Kb RAM on a processor without an MMU. In addition, the development environment for the .NET Micro Framework is fully integrated with Visual Studio.The E-trolZ architecture is a dual partitioned with multiple processors designed to deliver reliable, real-time performance simultaneously with data management.
5 Degrees of Integration is the culmination of expertise in precisely timed measurement, signal conditioning, signal processing, and software integrated and delivered into each product.
The E-trolZ Control Coprocessor is a dedicated, programmable, real-time controller capable of sophisticated timing, signaling, and high-speed I/O control.
